Ben McBurnett

Ben McBurnett is a filmmaker working as a Camera Operator and Director of Photography. He is a member of the Society of Camera Operators as well as the International Cinematographers Guild. Born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, Ben went on to start his career in Chicago after graduating from Columbia College’s Film program. Working his way up from his first job driving grip trucks he went on to serve in various roles in G&E eventually settling in the camera department. These experiences help form his holistic and collaborative view of the production process.

Serving as a Camera Operator and Director of Photography on various TV/Film, Commercial, and music video Projects. Ben’s work has been featured Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, Netflix, HULU, Showtime, BET, Lifetime and many more major outlets. Ben has been apart of several Emmy nominated and winning projects as well as projects showcased at film festivals Sundance and SXSW.
